Wow, 2 weeks ago was just really good. I spent a whole week hanging out with my uncle(Who happens to be a storyboard artist for movies) & his family and my grandpa.
Most of the time, we went out to the National Gallery of Art to see the "Henri Rousseau: Jungle in Paris" exhibit. Though I really wanted to go a Keith Haring exhibit...But I was able to see a photographic portrait of him at the Smithsonian Museum of American Art.

There's me at the National Gallery of Art
We also went to the Smithsonian museum of Natural History. I took alot of pictures of different animal bones.

Bones bones bones....

When you're in the D.C area, you'll find hundreds of these stamds.
And me and my family have been eating out none stop. We had thai, japanese, Applebees, sushi, pizza(On this occasion, we order a pizza but we got the wrong order so we got an extra pizza plus buffalo wings for free), and BBQ. Man, ever since my younger brother left for college, my mom didn't feel like cooking for three people(Me, my mom and dad)

Yummy! Bento Lunch for me! ^__^
We also went to the Lurey Caverns but I didn't want to go because I wanted to go the comic book store on that day. Plus I don't see anything great about a cave.(Well there was one part of the cave that I like but that was it...) In fact we got there, I was creeped out by it, especially the part when they played the organ music. It was so calm and wonderful but hearing a creepy cave made me feel uncomfortable. What really bugged me was that it took us 2 hours just to go to a tour for 1 hour. Plus it cost $19 for each and that's 7 of us plus 1 kid(One of cousins that visit was under the adult age). Geez...At least I was able to go the comic book store after we were done.

Spooky Caves. Wooooooooo~
One of the stupid things I've done was that I hardly worked on my class work. During the week when my relatives were hanging out with me & my family, it was SIGGRAPH week in which all of my animation teachers attended to thos I didn't have classes for a whole week. But they told us that we need to still work on our stuff. But I've been known to procrastinate till the last minute, which I did...
I could have worked on Friday, but I used Friday as my "Me Time" day. That meant, I went out to the mall and other places and got myself this stuff:
Summon Night: Swordcraft Story
Futurama: The Time Bender Triology
Strawberry Marshmallow vol. 1
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creating a Graphic Novel
Clerks the Animated Series DVD collection
Plus I was able to show my uncle my work and he thought it was really good. And he recommended that I should continue working on my comics and submit my stuff to a publisher. I really SHOULD work on my comics instead of working at Toys R Us. I really want to get pay for drawing and not for standing behind a register. I need to find an art job somewhere out there...
